What’s Different About Walkers Cycling?

We understand cycling.

We ride bikes – racing bikes, mountain bikes, touring bikes.

Between us we’ve done most kinds of cycling and we love it!

Bike Sales – Our Brands:
New bicycles by Bumper, CUBE, Claud Butler, Dawes, Falcon, Giant, Massi
, Schwinn and Shogun to suit all ages and budgets. All new bikes sold by Walkers are fully assembled, given a 21-point safety and adjustment check by experienced mechanics and qualify for a free service after 4 to 6 weeks of use.

We can take a deposit to reserve your new bike – £30 or 25%, whichever is the greater – ride your new bike away when the balance has been paid. We also have a small selection of reconditioned bikes. Please call for details as these bikes are not normally on display in our shop.

Bike Servicing & Repairs:
From puncture repairs to complete rebuilds – trust our Weldtech Platinum qualified mechanics to care for your bike as if it were our own.

Parts & Accessories:
All the extras that make cycling safer and more enjoyable. From spare tubes to tool kits, from helmets to waterproof socks, we’ve got cycling covered.

Training & Tuition:
Our qualified instructors can teach cycling skills – from beginners (aged 7 or over – no upper limit!) to commuting or off-road skills. One-to-One lessons, group sessions and after school clubs can be arranged.

Bike Hire:
We have adults’ and childrens’ mountainbikes and tandems available for group or individual hire at competitive daily or weekly rates.

Corporate Days Out:
A different sort of away day – we can provide transport, bikes, leaders – everything you need to give your team an away day they will remember.

Event Management:
This is where Walkers Cycling started – we can plan, organise and administer your cycling event. Whether it is an international race or a local charity ride – we have the experience to make sure everything is taken care of.

Consultancy:
We can provide a comprehensive consultancy service to organisations in the private and public sectors. With our knowledge of relevant legislation, funding sources and best practice we can help – whether you are an employer introducing a cycling-friendly policy or a local authority developing a network of cycle routes.
