All Mechanics in Our Workshop Team are Weldtech or Cytech Qualified

    

When you bring your bike to Walkers Cycling for servicing or repair you can rest safe in the knowledge that our workshop staff are all fully qualified and accredited to Cytech and/or Weldtech standards. Regrettably, the same can't be said of all bike shops and that's something to bear in mind when shopping around for bike servicing or repairs.

Booking
Advance booking on service and repair work is advisable. Our workshop can be very busy, especially during the spring and summer months. Owing to lack of space, we may not be able to take bikes in for servicing without prior booking. Collection and delivery by arrangement for an additional charge - contact us for details. Estimates
Before any work is carried out the customer will be given an estimate of the cost of the work required. We will always advise the customer if, in our estimation, the bicycle or component is not economically repairable. We can also carry out insurance estimates for accident damaged bikes. There is a £15.00 charge for this service. If we are subsequently authorised to carry out the repair/s required, the £15.00 estimate charge will be deducted from the cost of the repair.

• Bike cleaned, de-greased and lubricated correctly

• Disc brake bleeding (where applicable)
• Bottom bracket and head set stripped, cleaned and re-greased
• Hubs stripped, cleaned and re-greased (new bearings fitted with cup & cone hubs)
• Seat post cleaned and re-greased
• New inner and outer cables fitted - cables supplied free of charge

Fitting Charge 2 does not include the cost of the part/s being fitted

• Repairs must be paid for in full before the the cycle is taken away. Payments can be made by cash, credit or debit card. For estimates over £50.00 a 50% deposit may be required.
• Cycles overdue for collection 7 days after the arranged collection date or after completion of the repair work will incur a storage charge of £10.00 per week or part thereof.
• Any cycle not collected will be disposed of to cover the cost of storage and repair after 30 days.

Customers will be required to sign accepting these terms and conditions prior to any work being carried out.
