SRAM Force 2010 Groupset

From a position of relative obscurity just a few years ago, SRAM are now recognised as one of the top three groupset manufacturers alongside Shimano and Campag. Innovations such as the SRAM DoubleTap® road shifters have seen the company gain a well-deserved reputation amongst the worlwide cycling community.

For 2010, the new SRAM Force borrows from SRAM’s professional Red components: unidirectional carbon, wider skeletonised Dual Pivot design brakes and the lighter/stiffer BB30 crankset option - all with a total weight of 1951g. SRAM Force has matured through millions of kilometres of professional racing and now offers many more features for the same price.

Tacx Home Trainers

When you can't go out riding Tacx have a home trainer to fit the bill. Here are just a couple of items from Tacx' tremendous range of stationary trainers.

Sirius Cycletrainer
The Sirius is a striking cycletrainer with an ergonomically shaped frame that rebounds slightly while you ride. The magnetic brake contains two discs, each of which is equipped with six permanent magnets. You can use the 10-position lever on your handlebars to shift the magnets' position inside the brake unit in relation to one another.

During your work out the power increases when you speed up and/or shift to a bigger gear. The Sirius is equipped with a finely balanced steel flywheel that weighs 2 kg to allow for a fluid pedal stroke. The heavier the flywheel, the greater the momentum of mass inertia.

The Sirius features a brake equipped with a noise reducing SoftGel roll that has a durable stainless steel surface.

Antares Rollers
Rollers are the original home cycle trainer and Tacx have been making high quality rollers for decades. The Antares represents the latest in a distinguished lineage of Tacx rollers.

You can cycle freely on the Antares rollers to refine your co-ordination and technique. The heavy duty tapered rollers ensure that it is almost impossible to ride off the machine. The Antares is collapsible and measures only 80 cm when collapsed, making it easy to carry.

Panaracer TrailRaker PR MTB Tyre

This XC tyre excels in wet and soft conditions. The TrailRaker has excellent mud shedding capabilities and grip in wet conditions.

The tyre features Panaracer's ASB (Anti Snake Bite) technology - a proprietary anti-rebound rubber strip that reduces the chance of pinch punctures by an average of 40%.

The ZSG Ultima compound provides incredible grip in wet or dry conditions and superior handling performance. ZSG Ultima will wear at least 10% longer without sacrificing any riding performance.
