The Claud Butler Range
The 2010 Claud Butler model range features something for everyone, including Claud Butler Junior alloy framed kid's bikes - see our Children's Bikes page for details. For adults there are old favourites such as the Explorer and Urban models - both very popular with cycle-to-work scheme customers - alongside the updated range of competitively priced road bikes.

For the cycle tourist there are the Dalesman and Regent to choose from - both tried and tested models with a long pedigree. Both bikes come ready equipped for touring - whether it's a hostelling weekend or a longer tour further afield. The touring bikes are available to order.

The Explorer is a hybrid with a design that combines the conventional geometry of the hybrid and the poise of the mountain bike offering the best of both worlds. Large gear ratios combined with the 700c wheels and the frame’s lower centre of gravity make these bikes low, fast, light and comfortable. Ideal for that fast city weekday commute or a leisurely ride down the canal towpath at the weekend. This model was very popular with our cycle-to-work scheme customers in 2009. We expect the 2010 Explorer to do just as well. Aluminium frame suspension fork. 21 speed gears with trigger shifters; powerful V brakes; alloy 700x35c double wall wheel rims with Kenda tyres. Men's hybrid/commuting bike in 18 & 20 inch frame sizes. Womens model available in 15 & 17 inch frame. The hybrid, or 'trekking', bike is ideal for many leisure riders and commuters. Designers took the best elements from mountain, touring and racing bikes to build a bike that provides the rider with comfort and protection from the elements. Perfect for tarmac cycle paths and forestry tracks. The Odyssey has an alloy frame and wheels, suspension fork and seatpost, 21-speed gears and is equipped with mudguards and a carrying rack.		Womens urban sports bike in 15 & 17 inch frame sizes. Men's model available in 18, 20 & 22 inch frame. The Mercury caters for the fashion conscious rider who wants the visual appeal of the MTB but has no intention of taking it anywhere near a mountain. With semi slick, 26 inch road tyres the Mecury is ideal for urban commuting or general leisure riding. This design offers a more responsive alternative to the urban and hybrid models, but is not designed for off road use.		Mens urban sports bike in 14, 16, 18, 20 & 22 inch frame sizes. The Claud Butler Urban series bikes are suitable for road and light off road use. The Urban design combines the durability of the ATB with the comfort and pace of hybrid bikes combining the best attributes from both styles of bike. The fast, light and comfortable urban sports bike has become one of the fastest growing modes of transport. The Urban 200 has an alloy frame and wheels, 18-speed gears, V brakes, Kenda 700x40 tyres.
