Walkers Cycling take pride in the friendly, personal service we offer. The 'Walkers Cycling Price' of all new cycles sold by us is inclusive of VAT, full assembly, 21 point adjustment and safety check and a free 4-6 week service. We simply could not offer this level of customer care with "bike in a box, build it yourself" sales.

Stock Availability and Ordering
We aim to have a good selection of the Bumper range in stock. To avoid disappointment please phone, fax or email to check availability before traveling. Models not in stock can usually be ordered for delivery within a few days.

We can take a deposit to reserve your new bike - £30 or 25%, whichever is the greater - ride your new bike away when the balance has been paid.

Christmas Club
The Walkers Cycling Christmas Club is now available to help spread the cost of your Christmas bike purchase. A deposit of 25% or £30 (whichever is greater) secures your bike for Christmas. Further details available on request.

Choosing a Child's Bike
We welcome children, accompanied by a parent or guardian, to view our range of children's cycles and try them for size. Our experienced staff can help you choose the right bike for your child.

Children's cycles are grouped by wheel size from 12 to 24 inches. See the sizing chart below for guidance on the correct size for your child.

Sizing a Child's Bike:
There is no specific rule that dictates what size of bike is right for a child of any particular age. Frame sizes vary between different manufacturers and different styles of bike. The child's level of cycling skill and confidence will also affect the choice of size.

The table below provides a very approximate guide to suitable sizes for different age groups. At Walkers Cycling however, we believe there is simply no substitute for a child trying the bike for size. We welcome children accompanied by an adult in the shop where we will gladly adjust the handlebars and/or saddle of any cycle to help you determine the most appropriate size of bike for your child.

Bumper Trikes

They'll have bundles of fun on a Bumper trike! Good looks and a sturdy build quality combine to give your child a trike they'll want to ride again and again.

There are five great models to choose from:

Sparkle - in pink and white with a dolly/teddy carrier for the girls.

Firepower - in red and black for the boys.

Tuff Truck - in authentic dump truck yellow and black, the Tuff Truck is ideal for young builders. Features include wide wheels, a rear tipper bin, handle bar bag and a back rest on the seat for extra comfort on long jobs.

Starlet - in pink, white and blue for the girls. Features include a rear tipper bin, handlebar bag and a detachable safety control handle.

Blaze - Red, blue and yellow for the boys. Features include a rear tipper bin, handlebar bag and a detachable safety control handle.

Bumper Scooters

Your child can ride the pavement in safety and style with these fantastic looking scoots from the Bumper stable.

Two models to choose from - the Sparkle in pink for the girls and the Firepower for the boys in red, black and flame. Both come fitted with a handy bar bag.

Bumper Commando - Boys available in 12, 14, 16 or 18 inch wheel size

The bottom bracket, headset and wheel hubs all have complete bearings - NO plastic bushes. Front and rear caliper brakes ('V' brakes on the 16" and 18" models) with short reach junior brake levers to accommodate little hands in comfort.

Hi-rise BMX style safety handlebars. Single speed freewheel. High quality spoked wheels with tubed, pneumatic tyres. Handlebar bag and water bottle.

The 12 and 14" models are fitted with a fully enclosed chainguard. The 16" and 18" models have a chain ring guard.

The 12/14/16" bikes are fitted with stabilisers as standard while the 18" model can be fitted with stabilisers for a small, additional charge.

Finished in a dark green camouflage colour scheme.
