BMX Bikes

The Bicycle Moto Cross craze reached its peak in the 1980s when a 'BMX' was the bike that every boy and girl wanted to be seen on. Since then BMX has settled down to become an accepted part of the cycling scene and, despite the arrival of the mountainbike, demand for single geared BMX machines remains steady.

Only a small percentage of BMX bikes sold are used for organised racing but the sturdy BMX, with its 360 degree giro rotor and stunt pegs, is the 'bike of choice' for the many adventurous youngsters who like nothing better than performing a little trick riding with their friends.

Haro are the name in BMX and the company is our supplier of choice for our BMX stock. We've tried some of the other brands but Haro are streets ahead in terms of build quality, style, specification, performance and the sort of strength that can cope with the punishment that BMX riders dish out.

Haro F-1 Hi-tensile steel frame and fork. Supplied with 1 pair of steel pegs; WinZip rotor; 39x14 micro-drive gearing; alloy 48h rims; Tektro brakes; Haro MS4 tyres. Also available in white, orange or black finish	Haro F-2 Cro-moly down tube and steerer tube. Supplied with 2 pairs of steel pegs; WinZip rotor; 36x13 micro-drive gearing; alloy 48h rims; Tektro brakes; Haro MS4 Tyres. Also available in copper, blue or green finish

We welcome children, accompanied by a parent or guardian, to view our range of BMX cycles and try them for size. Our experienced staff can help you choose the right BMX bike for your child.

Our Service
Walkers Cycling take pride in the friendly, personal service we offer. The 'Walkers Cycling Price' of all new BMX cycles sold by us is inclusive of VAT, full assembly, 21 point adjustment and safety check and a free 4-6 week service. All our manufacturers offer a full warranty on all their products.

Stock Availability and Ordering
We aim to have a small selection of Haro BMX bikes in stock at any time. To avoid disappointment please phone, fax or email to check availability before traveling. Models not in stock can usually be ordered for delivery in a few days - subject to availability from the manufacturer. We can take a deposit to reserve your new bike - £30 or 25%, whichever is the greater - ride your new bike away when the balance has been paid.
