Bionicon Bikes
Walkers Cycling is now an accredited Bionicon stockist. Bionicon mountain bikes are distinguished by the unique geometry adjustment system - the 'Bionicon System' - which offers riders the optimum bike position whether going up or down hill. Adjustment of the suspension units is 'on the fly' using the handlebar mounted control.

It's impossible to do justice to this astounding system here, so we really do encourage you to come to the shop where we can show you exactly how it works. Think 'magic mountain bike with handlebar-mounted abracadabra button' and you'll get a rough idea!

Bionicon Ride Day - April 2010

Walkers Cycling, in partnership with Bionicon UK, are holding a Bionicon ride day at the Glentress 7stanes trail centre on Saturday 17th April 2010 from 10 am to 5 pm. This will give you the chance to put one of the revolutionary Bionicon adjustable geometry system full suspension bikes through its paces at the UK's favourite trail centre (and on some natural ''backcountry'' trails) under the expert guidance and tuition of Bionicon Uk's Roger Seal and Bionicon Team UK rider Neil Walker.

All Bionicon Full Suspension Models will be available to ride. Places are limited to 9 riders, so book now at our online shop to avoid disappointment. The £20 booking fee includes lunch and parking and is refundable if you subsequently purchase a Bionicon bike in 2010 from Walkers Cycling.

Bionicon Golden Willow
Bionicon Edison
Classic, elegant tubesets, supple yet strong - just like the Willow shoots which inspired its name. The slightly stretched position is perfect for long rides and steep climbs. The frame construction is geared for maximum robustness and durability. The suspension system is firm which guarantees a settled chassis whilst standing.
The idea of satisfying all mountainbikers with just one bike was the dream which led to the invention of the Bionicon system. The Edison is the basis for this concept. Making a universal frame for every biker is probably impossible. The personal needs of each and every rider simply occupy too great a spectrum. However, creating the Edison concept has almost banished the problem to the wilderness.

Get the Right Bike

Choosing a new bike can be quite a task given the huge variety of machinery available nowadays. You may find one of our Walkers Cycling bike buying guides useful. These can be downloaded from our Bikes Page.
